George W. prob didn't even know queer Muslims existed let alone inviting them to the White House Iftaar dinner! Just sayin. :-)
For what it's worth the Obama administration has been more LGBT inclusive than any President before.
So is it weird that I had an inside scoop on the Hillary speech? One of her staff told me back in Aug at the White House Iftaar. :-)

HR should be as much a priority in the US as what we expect for other countries - esp if we'll use our "power" to dictate foreign policy.
Apparently it's wrong to kill LGBT people in other countries but it's totally acceptable to kill "terrorists" that supposedly threaten us.
What effect todays directive will actually have is not known. Many US allies have atrocious human rights records against LGBT people.
Some US folks argue that President needs to do more here; others counter that foreign aid should not be used as a leverage to push policy.
Fascinating to read comments in mainstream newspaper websites about today's Presidential directive regarding LGBT rights.
